GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE OF BOCKLIP - JANUARY 1, 2023
ARTICLE 1. PURPOSE
These general terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations of the company BOCKLIP in the sale of materials, furniture, and decoration services. In the absence of a contract concluded between BOCKLIP and the buyer or specific terms of purchase expressly accepted by BOCKLIP, sales are subject to the general terms and conditions of sale described below.
Consequently, all products and services provided by BOCKLIP imply the customer’s unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, excluding any catalog, brochure, or other promotional materials, which are for informational purposes only.
If required on the website, the Customer’s failure to accept the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) by not checking the acceptance box expresses their refusal to use the products and services developed by BOCKLIP. Therefore, without acceptance of the GTC, the Customer will not have access to our full range of services.
The GTC form a binding contract between the Customer and BOCKLIP. They outline the conditions governing the Customer’s use of the Services. These GTC, along with any updates, additions, additional terms, and BOCKLIP’s rules and policies, together constitute the “Agreement” between BOCKLIP and the Customer.
BOCKLIP reserves the right to amend or modify the GTC at any time.
The use of the Services also requires acceptance of BOCKLIP’s Privacy Policy and Data Protection, accessible here.
ARTICLE 2. PAYMENT AND PAYMENT TERMS
1. Prices
Prices for products and services are quoted in euros and include taxes (TTC). Any changes in the VAT rate will automatically affect the product and service prices as of the effective date of the corresponding decree.
2. Orders
To place an order on the Site, the Customer must first create a customer account by completing the registration form provided (hereinafter the “Account”).
When creating the Account, the Customer selects a username and associated password. These credentials are strictly personal and confidential. The Customer agrees not to disclose or transfer them to third parties. Any order placed using these credentials will be deemed to have been made by the Customer, binding them accordingly to BOCKLIP.
The Customer requests a quote on the BOCKLIP website by filling out the designated form, accompanied by a plan and project description, to allow BOCKLIP’s teams to provide a customized response.
The Customer selects Products and quantities on the Site. They can review and modify their selection at any time using the “My Cart” function. The Customer finalizes the cart by clicking “Continue my order.” The Customer selects the delivery method, views the delivery costs for each method, and confirms their choice by clicking “Validate.”
A summary of the order and its total amount (TTC) is displayed. The Customer selects the payment method by clicking on “Credit Card” or “PayPal.” The order is finalized once payment is processed and the Customer sees the confirmation page: “Thank you for your order with BOCKLIP.”
This confirmation constitutes express and unconditional acceptance of the GTC, the selected products, quantities, colors, prices, and delivery terms.
The Customer is bound to BOCKLIP as soon as they confirm their order. They guarantee that the information provided during account creation and order placement is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
BOCKLIP is not responsible for errors in the Customer’s data entry and any resulting issues with order processing.
Acceptance of the order by BOCKLIP is formalized through an email sent to the Customer’s registered address.
Orders are considered finalized and prepared only after full payment has been received.
3. Payment Methods
Payment is made by credit card or PayPal. Accepted cards include Carte Bleue, MasterCard, and Visa.
PayPal: When selecting PayPal, the Customer will be redirected to their PayPal account. They can log in (or create an account) and complete payment.
4. Storage Fees
Once the delivery email is sent, the Customer has one month to schedule delivery. Beyond this period, storage fees of €40 including VAT per month will apply.
ARTICLE 3. DELIVERY SERVICES AND SHIPPING TIMES
Orders are validated and delivery times begin only after BOCKLIP receives full payment.
Deliveries are available across France and select European countries (additional charges apply for non-road-accessible islands, high-altitude areas, and Switzerland).
BOCKLIP products are delivered to the address specified during ordering. Delivery times vary based on location and selected finishes. Estimated delivery times are provided, but precise dates cannot be given immediately since products are made-to-order. Customers are kept informed at each stage of production.
For orders containing façades, delivery will occur by appointment, at the truck’s curbside, in one day. Orders with samples and accessories are delivered without prior appointment, either to the home or a pickup point.
BOCKLIP does not manage orders or deliveries for IKEA or other suppliers. Customers are responsible for verifying delivery times with those suppliers.
Customers must check the condition of packaging and products upon delivery and report any issues within 15 days, including photos, to help@bocklip.com.
Damaged BOCKLIP products will be replaced within eight (8) weeks if reported within the specified timeframe.
Delivery times are estimates and cannot justify order cancellations, refusal of goods, or compensation claims.
ARTICLE 4. WITHDRAWALS AND MODIFICATIONS
Since products are customized, BOCKLIP does not accept returns. Samples are provided to prevent discrepancies. Orders are considered final once validated. Modifications are not allowed after validation.
ARTICLE 5. GENERAL TERMS
1. Account Closure
Customers may close their accounts at any time.
2. Customer Declarations and Warranties
Customers declare they can legally contract under French law, will use the Services properly, and have read, understood, and agreed to the GTC.
3. BOCKLIP Warranties
BOCKLIP guarantees products against manufacturing defects until delivery. Defective products will be replaced. The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, assembly errors, improper storage, or unauthorized alterations.
4. Privacy Policy
Data collection and processing comply with BOCKLIP’s Privacy Policy. Customers are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.
5. Final Provisions
Customers and BOCKLIP will seek amicable solutions before pursuing legal action.
BOCKLIP may transfer this contract at its discretion.
If a provision of these GTC is invalidated, the remaining provisions remain applicable.
